Despite the high rents in our region, the scene is thriving, with several new spots opening recently or preparing to open. Since President Donald Trump’s 2016 election, the DIY spots have also grown into hot spots of activism. Kojo explores the unique local DIY arts ecosystem and what it offers the region.
