The DCist office

Last Thursday, local news publication DCist was abruptly shut down. Its affiliated network, Gothamist, was shuttered by owner Joe Ricketts when its workers voted to unionize. Gothamist’s parent company, DNAinfo, was also closed. We discuss the sudden demise of DCist and look at the state of local journalism in the region.

Redressing Segregation In Maryland’s Public Higher Education
