Wisconsin activists for raising the minimum wage display their message on an overpass.

D.C. voters could decide whether to boost the minimum wage to $15 an hour if a petition drive succeeds in putting the issue on next year’s ballot. In the meantime, we’ll examine how raising wages for low-paid workers has affected both employees and businesses in other areas of the country.
