Saying Goodbye To The Kojo Nnamdi Show
On this last episode, we look back on 23 years of joyous, difficult and always informative conversation.
Guest Host: Jen Golbeck
A bad batch of the illegal drug K2, also known as synthetic marijuana or spice, is likely to blame for more than 100 hospitalizations in the past week. Overdoses on the drug cause “zombie-like” symptoms in users, including walking around aimlessly and foaming at the mouth. City officials say the drug may also be to blame for at least four deaths. Kojo sits down with two Washingtonians who work to discourage K2 use about the spike in hospitalizations and how it is being addressed.
