Earlier this year, Ballou High School received national attention and acclaim when the southeast D.C. school announced that its entire senior class had been accepted to college. But an investigation by WAMU and NPR found high rates of unexcused absences, raising questions about how some students passed classes and graduated prepared. We speak with D.C. Schools Chancellor Antwan Wilson about what happened.
