Once again, the Montgomery County Council is considering raising the minimum wage from $11.50 to $15 an hour. Earlier this year, the Council voted for the increase, but County Executive Ike Leggett shot down the measure, saying it went “too far, too fast.” We explore whether Councilmember Marc Elrich’s revised legislation has a chance of passing.
