Voters don’t choose a candidate based on appearance–or at least most won’t admit it. But savvy politicos know that the styles they don tell people something– sometimes a lot– about them. We consider the ways, both subtle and less so, fashion is at play in the political sphere as we head into the election year with Robin Givhan. And we find out whether the increasingly swift evolution of menswear is making its way to the District’s conservative offices.
