The Prince George’s County Hospital Trauma Center is a place that absorbs much of the violence affecting young people of color in the Washington region. One local professor has been interviewing trauma victims who seek care there – and studying the role our health care system can play in ending cycles of violence that exist in our neighborhoods. Kojo chats with the professor leading that study and young man who joined that work after he lived through a stabbing incident.
