Guest Host: Michael Schaffer

The population of homeless families swelled in the District during recent years, pushing the city’s safety net mechanisms to their limits. D.C. government will soon be conducting a census of homeless youth to get more objective data about where young people fit into these trends. We connect with local officials involved with that effort and explore where young people fall in the homelessness crisis the city’s struggled with for the past several years.
