British-based Barclays Bank appears to have reached a financial settlement in a long-standing lawsuit brought by American prosecutors. In documents filed yesterday, Barclays admits that for almost a decade, the bank helped funnel more than $500 million to Cuba, Iran, Libya, Sudan and Myanmar / Burma and intentionally circumventing US law.
