The image stunned suburban commuters and television viewers across the country: a wall of water advancing down Bethesda’s busy River Road. That image was the result of a massive water main break — the sort of break that officials have been warning of for years. We’ll get an update on the state of our suburban pipe infrastructure and whether other such breaks may be in our future.
