Many Maryland election officials would prefer to forget the state’s 2006 primaries. Long lines, technical glitches and reports of intimidation plagued polling places across the state two years ago. Now, a task force is recommending a series of changes to try to prevent similar problems from happening in this November’s election. We’ll look at those suggestions and discuss whether they’re enough to ensure a smooth election this fall.
