Voting rights advocates were dealt a new setback yesterday, as the U.S. Senate blocked a measure to extend D.C. representation in the House. And insiders say the political climate on Capitol Hill makes it unlikely the measure will come up again before the presidential election. We’ll look at the behind-the-scenes politics and the future of voting rights for D.C.
