In the 1940’s and 50’s, Vietnamese leader Ho Chi Minh put together the political and military machinery that ended France’s colonial control over Indochina. In the 60’s and early 70’s, that machinery withstood the onslaught of the United States military. A look at the life of Ho Chi Minh, one of the most important, controversial, and mysterious figures of the twentieth century.
