In Conversation: Virginia Delegate Mark Keam On Asian Americans’ Political Power

The Asian American population in Virginia has shot up over the past 15 years and now, ahead of the state’s primary, that demographic includes 250,000 eligible voters.

Ahead of Super Tuesday, producer Ruth Tam spoke to Mark Keam, one of two elected Asian Americans in the Virginia House of Delegates, about how his background affects his service in the 35th district, and how Asian Americans are becoming a more informed electorate in the commonwealth and beyond.
