Non-profits are changing, both from within and without. Applying business-school models to non-profits is now the norm. Despite economic uncertainty, a new generation of idealists want to "do well" while "doing good." And governments are experimenting with new ways to encourage organizations with a social mission, like "B-corporations" and "social sector bonds." We look at trends for 2012 and beyond.
