What was the app they were talking about where you take a picture and it identifies thing, place, etc?
thx
Just wondering if the experts have an opinion on the best phone available for pay-as-you-go services [I use Virgin Mobile]?
Hi, and thanks for listening. The one we talked about is a free app from Google called Goggles. It's only available for Android phones, but Google is apparently bringing it the iPhone sometime soon: http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/google_goggles_coming_soon_to_iphon....

Thank you very much for mentioning I Education Apps Review (IEAR.org). As you mentioned, we are a community of educators, administrators and app developers. The goal for the community is to grade out apps for their educational value. IEAR is a grassroots movement for educators by educators to help each utilize mobile learning more effectively.
Once again, thank you for mentioning the community. The more ground swell that we can create, the more power our community can have to improve the mobile learning environment with the use of this new app paradigm.
