As tuition has skyrocketed in the U.S., American students are opting to study abroad in record numbers, and not just for a semester or a year. We find out how Canadian universities have quietly stepped up American recruiting, and explore the benefits and drawbacks of pursuing degrees across the border.

This was very startling and interesting information! I have already forwarded the link to a friend who has a nephew about to seek an affordable college education. I wondered why Canada is willing to provide such generous terms to foreign students. Do these students often choose to remain in Canada and contribute their education and skills to that country upon graduation? Does the united States make such proposals to talented young people that would benefit our nation if they chose to reside here? I am not aware of any such largesse....
