Two Washington watchdog groups reached an agreement with the Obama administration yesterday, restoring millions of lost emails from the Bush Administration. Depending on who you ask, the documents– covering 94 days’ worth of correspondence– were either lost, misplaced or intentionally hidden. We examine digital transparency and the challenges of restoring electronic communications.
