It's the story of a Palestinian woman and her son immigrating to America. Cherien Dabis' first feature length film -- Amreeka -- won critical acclaim when it was screened at Sundance and Cannes. Kojo talks with Dabis about the immigrant experience, and her own experience navigating the cultural divides between the Middle East and Midwest.
