The Grammy-winning a capella group Sweet Honey in the Rock celebrates its 35th anniversary this year. Its music merges contemporary rhythms with religious spirituals, traditional gospel hymns, jazz riffs, rap, reggae, hip-hop and more -- accompanied by narratives addressing topics from freedom and childhood to racism and global warming.
