in 1936, the Nazi government created a secret team of Jewish typesetters and graphic designers in a German concentration camp. Their mission- to create fake British pounds and U.S. dollars. It's a true story told in the new film "The Counterfeiters"-- this year's Academy Award winner for Best Foreign Film. Kojo meets the filmmaker, and explores the film's complex themes of complicity, privilege and principle.
