Angelique Kidjo

Angelique Kidjo

She started singing at six and has become one of the best known world musicians out there. We meet Angelique Kidjo and listen to songs from her latest album.

The soundtrack to Angelique Kidjo's childhood in Benin included a wide range of musicians -- from Aretha Franklin and James Brown to the South African singer Miriam Makeba. Now an international star in her own right, Kidjo returns to those early influences in her new album, "Oyo." She joins us to take a musical tour of her childhood and the sounds that are inspiring her today.
