Kojo,
I've not been able to listen for the past few minutes so perhaps you've said this, but when planning your trip to Giant or anywhere else, make sure you keep emergency supplies in mind, such as a 3-day supply not just of food, but of WATER.
The American Red Cross encourages residents to prepare to "Shelter in Place" and to do so, they should put an EMERBENCY PLAN together and BUILD AN EMERGENCY KIT.
Kim mentioned batteries and many other items -- there are great lists at www.redcrossnca.org (that's the site for the National Capital Area chapter of the Red Cross).
We have only a few hours before this storm will hit us, so we're really encuoraging folks to PLAN and PREPARE.
Together, we can all stay safe!
