The Psychology of a Super Bowl City

Listen Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010 at 1:06 p.m.

Less than five years ago, the Superdome served as a refugee camp in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. But the refurbished stadium recently served as the venue for a championship season -- the New Orleans Saints are set to square off against the Indianapolis Colts in the Super Bowl this Sunday. We explore how the hurricane altered the emotional and financial relationships between New Orleans and the Saints, and what they say about the future of a recovering city.
