Many consider him the best banjo player in the world. Now, this New York City native who awed the jazz and bluegrass worlds is collaborating with musicians from Uganda, Tanzania, Senegal, Mali, South Africa and Madagascar. He joins Kojo for a live in-studio performance and exploration of the banjo's roots.
