Employers have long known that a happy employee is a productive employee. And today some companies offer a range of benefits designed to enhance work-life balance, such as flex-time and maternity/paternity leave. But new research shows that such benefits often go unused. We talk with workplace consultant Howard Ross about why individuals and enlightened companies often fail to strike the proper balance.
