Virginia Democrats are talking up their prospects for big wins at the polls this November. Commonwealth Republicans, meanwhile, are scaling up local crackdowns on illegal immigration. We examine whether Virginia will have a significant imprint on national politics this election season. And the District's local primary campaigns are in full swing. We meet candidates vying to represent Ward 4, in the first of our primary debates.
