Colombian President Alvaro Uribe has long been one of Washington's strongest allies in Latin America. And despite new revelations about ties between his ruling party and violent paramilitary forces, he remains popular across the country. Yesterday Uribe announced the extradition of fourteen paramilitary leaders to the United States. We get an update on the "parapolitics" scandal, and the state of relations between Bogota and Washington.
