Nathan McCall

Listen Tuesday, Nov. 13, 2007 at 1:06 p.m. in Society
Guest host: Matthew Felling

He hit the literary scene big in 1994, when his memoir "Makes Me Wanna Holler: A Young Black Man in America" was published in 1994. Now, the former Washington Post journalist is a professor of African American studies at Emory University and his newest book explores the clashes that occur as gentrification spreads. He comments on the evolution of two of his 'adopted' homes: Washington DC and Atlanta Georgia.
