Joe Glazer: Labor's Troubadour (Rebroadcast)

Listen Monday, Sep. 3, 2007 at 12:25 p.m. in Arts & Culture, Economy

Joe Glazer was often described as America's social conscience. For more than fifty years, Glazer wrote, collected, and performed political protest songs and social commentary. A longtime resident of the Washington region, Joe Glazer died last year. On this first Labor Day since his passing, we revisit November 2003 when he joined Kojo to reflect on the powerful role music can play in changing the world.
