Garbage, Litter and Trash

Listen Tuesday, Jun. 12, 2007 at 1:06 p.m. in Environment, Health, Society
Guest host: Matthew Felling

Trash follows a winding path after you toss it down the compactor or drop on the street (gasp!). Ideally it ends up in a recycling center of landfill. Unfortunately, it often ends up in our waterways and on our highways. Kojo explores the science and politics of litter, and learns about a local "Trash Summit".
