Gentrification often leads to community clashes -- and they're not always along black/white lines. Tensions between homeowners and apartment dwellers, newcomers and old-timers, the haves and the have-nots are common, and often affect relations within the black community. We'll look at a study of one changing neighborhood in Chicago and consider what it tells us about our region.
