Thirty years ago, shortly after capital punishment was reinstated by the US Supreme Court, Bill Wiseman tried to make the practice more humane by eliminating the electric chair. The former legislator joins Kojo to discuss his early role in piloting lethal injection, and his personal opposition to the death penalty.
