Guantanamo Bay Hunger Strikes

Listen Wednesday, Sep. 21, 2005 at 1:06 p.m. in Law, Politics

For the second time since July, a group of detainees at the Guantanamo Bay prison camp are refusing to eat or drink to protest their imprisonments. The military says that less than fifty of the five hundred detainees are participating. Legal advocates have suggested it could be as high as ninety percent. Join Kojo for an update on conditions in Guantanamo Bay and the implications of hunger strikes.
