Red Auerbach

Listen Thursday, Nov. 11, 2004 at 12:06 p.m. in Sports

He began coaching in 1946 and led our local basketball team "The Washington Capitals" to two division titles in his first three years. But it was Red Auerbach's tenure with the Boston Celtics that made him "the greatest coach ever in the history of the NBA," as voted by the Professional Basketball Writers Association. Auerbach joins Kojo to reflect on life and basketball.

Audio archives, transcripts and CDs will be available approximately 15 minutes after the program ends.
