The Ghosts of Politics Hours Past, Present and Future
Friday on The Politics Hour, we're talking to Dr. Shannon Hader, Director of D.C.'s HIV/AIDS Administration, on what she's doing to revamp the system after millions were misspent on programs. Rep. Donna Edwards (D-MD) will also be with us to talk about her impending primary fight in 2010 and her latest efforts at curbing unemployment, her views on health care reform, and more.
We're also asking for your input for our first Politics Hour of the new year, which will air on Friday, Jan. 1. Our analysts are reflecting on the year that was and the year that will be in local politics, and we'd like to hear your thoughts on some of the following questions:
Looking Back at 2009:
What was the local political story of the year?
What was the most memorable gaffe by a local government official?
Who deserves a big gift (or a big lump of coal) for the holidays?
Looking Ahead to 2010:
Who's the up-and-coming local/national politician to watch in 2010?
The "October Surprise" in the 2010 election cycle will be...?
What's the local story or trend most likely to go national in 2010?
What's the 2009 political fad most likely to go out of style in 2010?

I think that Dr. Shannon did certainly a great work in this area and the things will be better in the future on this area.
